“I’ve Tried Everything…”

Acne is more than skin deep—it can impact your confidence and your quality of life.

“I’ve used salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, even prescription creams—but nothing really worked long-term.”

That’s because acne has different causes: hormonal, bacterial, fungal, inflammatory—and each type needs its own treatment strategy.

What Makes Dermatolo-G Different?

Led by board-certified Nurse Practitioner Gigi Rusnak, Dermatolo-G specializes in clearing even the most stubborn acne with a customized, results-driven approach.

Acne FAQs

What types of acne do you treat?

We treat cystic acne, hormonal acne, blackheads, whiteheads, fungal acne, and acne scars.

Can adults do virtual acne care?

Absolutely—adult acne is one of our most common virtual services.

Do you prescribe medications like tretinoin or spironolactone?

Yes. If appropriate, we prescribe and you can pick up at your local pharmacy or delivered from a mail-order pharmacy.

What about Accutane (isotretinoin)?

Absolutely! Accutane is one of our most prescribed medications. Gigi spends 30 minutes in the consultation with you going over the risks, benefits, and side effects. With virtual dermatology, Accutane follow-ups are just as frequent as in-person care, but much more convenient. You can check in from home without taking time off work/school or traveling to the office.

Can you treat acne scars online?

The best way to treat acne scars is to prevent them. When your acne is well-controlled, Gigi can help refer and recommend acne scarring treatments in your area.
